I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very good, but the noise from a wedding party and the high room temperature affected my stay. The outside patio next to the square and walking trail was a nice addition. The service was decent with housekeeping and tours/ticket assistance available, but there were some issues with noise. The location was excellent for exploring the Black Forest areas, with stunning views of the Rhine Valley and Strasbourg on the horizon. The dining options were good, although not as rich as expected.
